Scott’s father passed away when he was 13 years old, exposing him, early in life, to mortuary services.
When it was time to decide on a major while attending University of Central Oklahoma, Scott spoke with the director of the funeral services department, and left the meeting knowing his career path.
With more than 30 years caring for families in their time of need (20 years as the owner of Sierra Foothills Funeral Services), Scott knows how important it is to provide experience and expediency to families, as well as compassion and a cost structure that all families can afford.
Scott has lived in Auburn since he graduated from college, and has enjoyed being part of his community, including involvement in Rotary, as well as coaching sports teams, including the Junior Hillmen. Scott is the proud dad of three sons, two who live in Auburn, and one who lives in North Carolina.
Scott is also a loving son, brother, and uncle, and visits his family in Oklahoma as often as he can.
Very truly yours,
